A partner in protecting the financial sector

Cleafy supports CERTFin’s mission to safeguard the financial sector across Europe and beyond by providing intelligence, technical expertise, and insights into emerging fraud tactics and attack patterns. Since 2020, Cleafy has contributed, when invited, to briefings and workshops organised by CERTFin, giving security teams from financial institutions direct access to Cleafy’s threat analysts.

CERTFin, Italy’s financial sector CERT, serves as a central hub for threat intelligence, incident response, and cybersecurity collaboration. It monitors emerging threats like phishing, banking malware, and fraud schemes, sharing real-time intelligence to enable proactive defence. In the event of an attack, CERTFin coordinates response efforts with banks, law enforcement, and regulators. As a key member of the European Financial Info Sharing and Analysis Center (FinISAC), CERTFin works alongside Europol, the Dutch Payments Association, the Nordic Financial CERT, and the Polish Bank Association (ZBP).
